Pereira Colombia

Pereira, the capital of Risaralda, is a beautiful and lively university city located in a small valley that descends from a part of the western Andes mountain chain. Pereira is a perfect gateway for the beautiful sweeping hills of Risaralda.The main attractions of Pereira are the Museo Arqueológico Jaime Mejía on the Quimbaya culture, the Lago Uribe, the Municipal Palace administration buildings located at Plaza Bolivar, the Gothic style church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen and the Cathedral La Pobreza.
